The joy of the Lord is our strength. We thank God for another day, His amazing Grace and deeper Revelation. We thank God for another day, His amazing Grace and deeper revelation. Today’s message is titled, “Don’t let struggles strangle your faith.”
“Timothy, my son, I give you this instruction in keeping with the prophecies once made about you, so that by following them you may fight the good fight, holding on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith.” (1 Timothy 1:18, 19 NIV)
Beloved, today’s message is to encourage you to hold on to your faith no matter the challenges you are facing or that’s ahead of you. Don’t let struggles strangle your faith to death but rather hold on to that faith which will give you access to God’s Grace (Romans 5:2) which is sufficient enough (2 Corinthians 12:9) to overcome those struggles. I know doubts may come but don’t let those doubts hold you down but rather hold on to that faith in God which will help clear those doubts and have a good conscience as you await for your breakthrough.
The book James tells us that a double-minded person (James 1:6-8) will not receive anything from God and doubts make you double-minded, and faithless. It makes you weak in spirit. I can also relate doubt to a rope that can strangle your faith and eventually make you faithless if you let it into your life. This is the very reason why you need to hold on to your faith and not let doubts in so that you would have a good conscience to receive from God. Many a time, you may feel troubled about an issue and don’t know what to do. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. However, be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be people of courage; be strong. So the next time you feel weighed down by despair and trouble, open your Bible and unlock your potential, open your mouth and pray. Remember that God is always there for you.
Put your faith in God today, and He will work something good in your life. Don’t let your emotions, challenges, struggles, and weaknesses, hinder you from trusting God to take care of you. Life’s situations and concerns can weigh you down, but Jesus is ready, waiting for you to cast every burden unto Him.
Continue holding to your faith and have a good conscience as you await for the manifestation of your breakthrough.
GOD BLESS YOU!
