The Word Works Wonders

We thank God for His sustaining Grace, Love, and Mercy that continues to manifest in our lives. We also want to thank Him for giving us His wisdom to bring His life-changing message to His people. Today’s message is titled, “The Word Works Wonders.”

Scripture References:

“7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:  the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. 12 Who can understand his errors? Cleanse thou me from secret faults. 13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. 14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.”- Psalm 19:7-14 KJV

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”- Hebrews 4:12 NIV

“Cause me to understand the way of your precepts, that I may meditate on your wonderful deeds.”-Psalm 119:27 NIV

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”-2 Timothy 3:16 NIV

My Message

Today’s message is just to enlighten us on the wonders of the Word of God.

Beloved, the Word of God is a divine revelation of Him. Beloved, we have been reminded that the Word of God was divinely inspired [God breathed] in the beginning and that it has been supernaturally preserved down to this very day. No other book is like the Bible because only the Bible has God Himself as the Author. The purpose for which the Bible was given to man was to help us live according to the standards set by God without the need to compromise.  The Word of God was given so that lost sinners might come to know God in a personal relationship.

Many times we read the Bible and don’t seem to get what God is saying to us. It was never meant to be so. As you read and meditate on the Word of God, you should hear God speak to you. You must come to that level where you realize that the Word of God is all you need because nothing can change your life like the Word of God will. People who were once alcoholics, prostitutes, robbers, addicts and etc., have received a much better life that is sober and clean because they started reading the Bible and committed their lives to God. God’s Word has the power to transform lives.

Beloved, let me ask you these: What do you believe in? God’s Word or the world? Will it be what God says is true or public opinion? You must understand that God’s Word is truth and will forever be.

The Word of God gives us eternal life and saves us from eternal condemnation. 1 Peter 1:23 says that, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.” We were born by the Word of God. The Word of God is God Himself. The Bible even says that God spoke things into being [Genesis 1:1-31] and thus for us to even thrive as Christians, we need the Word of God.

God’s Word increases our faith. With reference to Romans 10:17, the Bible says that “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” By mediating on the Word of God, our faith in God and His promises become strengthen and we are able to stand firm amidst of persecution.

Also, the Word of God cleanses us as we grow in Christ.  By this, I mean that the Word challenges us to live more righteously each and every day of our lives. John 15:3 says, “Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.” Thus, God’s Word sanctifies us for His use. Through His Word, we are cleansed and regenerated by being born again. Christ’s righteousness now covers us and all the Father sees is His precious Son’s righteousness over us. That is the only way we can be found holy and without blemish because we are all sinners in need of salvation.

Beloved, I would like to conclude by saying that God’s Word is very important and it is essential for our salvation. Also, it is important for every believer to grow more in Christ so that he/she can encourage other believers as they also walk on this journey of faith. Thank You Lord, for Your Word!

God bless you for reading. Share this truth with others. Have a glorious day!!!
